This year’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of International Day of Older Persons (UNIDOP), in anticipation of the third United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III) to be held in 2016, focused on the impact of the new urban environment on older persons, as well as the impact of older persons on the new urban environment.

In Memoriam: Professor Tetsuo Tsuji, President of ILC Japan
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Professor Tetsuo Tsuji on July 30, 2026. At the time of his passing, Professor Tsuji was President of ILC Japan and, until March 2026, a Professor at the Institute of Gerontology, University of Tokyo, one of Japan’s leading institutions for research on ageing.

ILC Singapore: Tsao Foundation appoints Geraldyn Lim as Chief Executive Officer
