As part of their Delivering prevention in an ageing world programme, ILC-UK are asking for input on how we can deliver prevention in an ageing world.
Last month, ILC-UK hosted three expert roundtables launching a series of consultation papers to gain insights on what works in:
- Democratising access to prevention
- Inspiring and engaging people with prevention
- Using technology effectively for prevention
Have your say on these topics through responding to ILC-UK’s consultation papers here.
And hear about some of the key points from these discussions in the video below.
This report shows the real life of older adults in Japan. Their labour participation rate, financial assets, relationships with neighbours are described first, and then systems such as pension, medical and long-term care are being explained with numbers and figures.
ILC-Japan has been promoting public-industry collaboration to enhance support for older adults in daily living. After conducting studies with community support coordinators and creating a tool with tips to make improvements, we are now in the implementation stage to build actual collaboration between supermarkets and municipalities.
This Summer, ILC-UK's Founder and Executive President, and one of the founding members of the ILC Global Alliance, Baroness Sally Greengross OBE passed away. She was an inspiration to us all across the ILC family, both professionally and personally, and her legacy will continue to live on.
