The Launch of the UN INIA, Malta training programme on “Gerontology” by ILC-I
The short training programme in “Gerontology”, jointly organized by the International Institute on Ageing, United Nations-Malta (INIA); the International Longevity Centre-India (ILC-I); and the Dr. D. Y. Patil University, India was launched on the 19th of January 2013 at the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College in Pimpri, Pune.

Dr. S. D. Gokhale, the eminent social scientist of international repute and the Founder President of the International Longevity Centre-India passed away peacefully after a brief illness on the 15th of January 2013.
