Join ILC-UK for the global launch of their new report on what works in delivering a preventative approach to health in an ageing world.

Speakers and facilitators include:

  • Dr John Beard, previously Director of Ageing and Life Course, WHO
  • Prof Annelies Wilder-Smith, Professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases, LSHTM and Focal Point of COVID-19 vaccines SAGE committee
  • Dr Naoko Yamamoto, Assistant Director-General for Universal Health Coverage and Healthier Populations, WHO
  • Arunima Himawan, Research Fellow, ILC-UK

It’s never too late to prevent ill health. And the health and economic costs of failing to invest in preventative interventions across the life course are simply too high to ignore.

Join us for the global launch of our new report on what works in delivering a preventative approach to health in an ageing world; how we can improve take-up and adherence to preventative interventions; what we have learned from COVID-19; and how policymakers across the world need to act to ensure prevention becomes a priority as countries build back from the damage inflicted by the pandemic.

We will be joined by a panel of experts from across the world to discuss the findings and what needs to happen next so we can move from consensus to action on prevention.
