ILC-I, as UN INIA's Satellite Centre for the SAARC region is glad to announce that the admission for the United Nations' International Institute on Ageing, Malta's (UN INIA) Certificate Course on “Social Gerontology” is now open.
This Certificate Course is to be held from the 4th to 8th of December 2017 at the campus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and is in collaboration with ILC-I (as UN INIA's Satellite Centre for the SAARC Region) and TISS.
This course is open to only SAARC nationals.

ILC-India organises Online Essay Competition to celebrate World Women’s Day 2023
To celebrate World Women’s Day on 8th March, ILC-I organized an online Essay competition exclusively for older adults where they expressed their thoughts on the topic titled “An inspiring lady who has influenced my life!”

This report shows the real life of older adults in Japan. Their labour participation rate, financial assets, relationships with neighbours are described first, and then systems such as pension, medical and long-term care are being explained with numbers and figures.

Update on the Physiotherapy Assessment Camp (PAC) by ILC-India
From 2018, ILC-India started conducting this programme called “Physiotherapy Assessment Camps” in different parts of Pune city in collaboration with DES Brijlal Jindal College of Physiotherapy. Till date, around 1000 seniors have been covered under this programme, including follow-up visits.
