COMMITTEES AND WORKING GROUPS:COMMITTEES AND WORKING GROUPS:

Our primary purpose is to ensure that longevity and healthy ageing are considered within current and future climate change policy.

The ILC Global Alliance Communications Committee is made up of individuals from several member countries. The committee meets every 3-6 months to discuss how best to facilitate effective communication between member countries and with our wider international audience and followers.

The Gender and Ageing Committee’s purpose is to amplify the voices and lived experiences of older women, a group too often marginalised at the intersection of gender and age.

The International Committee is the Global Alliance’s largest member committee, dedicated to shaping and responding to the global discourse on ageing. It fosters multilateral and multisectoral partnerships to strengthen the Alliance’s authority and advance better outcomes for older adults.

The Membership Committee meets to review applications and determine whether an applicant organisation may be suitable for ILC Global Alliance membership.
