ILC Singapore at Tsao Foundation, in partnership with the ILC UK will be holding a two day workshop on 14-15 October 2019 in Singapore to understand the state of policies and practices of adult vaccination in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The workshop includes a seminar on Monday 14 October 2019 followed by a roundtable discussion on Tuesday 15 October 2019.

The seminar will showcase findings on adult vaccination research in the UK and Hong Kong, by ILC UK Director, David Sinclair, followed by a panel discussion.

The Roundtable session will focus on policy and practice of adult vaccination in Singapore, including implementation challenges and barriers, through a facilitated discussion. Contributions at this session will be acknowledged in a joint report by ILC Singapore and ILC UK on adult vaccination policies and practices in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore to be presented at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics meeting in November 2019.

Research by Gali Albalak explored how the timing of physical activity affects sleep, mood and health in adults aged 60 to 80 years with sleep difficulties. The study found that morning exercise was associated with earlier bedtimes, improved mood and higher energy levels.
