This webinar will bring together leading experts from across health science, actuarial modelling, epidemiology, social research and communications to explore the interconnected pressures climate change places on our health – and on the systems that support us as we age.
Climate change and population ageing are two of the most powerful forces reshaping our world. Yet they are almost always addressed in isolation – by different teams, different ministries, and different movements.
We will examine how climate change affects population health directly and indirectly, and unevenly across geographies and generations. We will ask what it does to the financial and care systems trying to respond. And we will explore how it compounds other risks in ways our current models and policies are not yet built to handle – before turning to what we can do to address this complexity.
