ILCSA surveys Gerontology and Geriatrics education and training offerings in sub-Saharan Africa (South Africa Dec.08) ILCSA's Ferreira completed an electronic survey of Gerontology and Geriatrics education and training offerings in SSA . countries late in 2008. Ten countries are represented in the database, and the preliminary findings indicate the relative paucity and narrow range of the offerings, as well as obstacles or barriers to an expanded instructional endeavour.
